Direct Draw Draft Beer System InstallsNeed a Customized Keg Rack built? Give us a call!
![]() There is a simplicity to the designing and installing of direct-draw beer systems. Maintenance is easier, there's no need for a trunk line, and as long as your cooler is staying below 38°, there shouldn't be any issues. Some of the most beautiful draft beer systems are direct draw, like the shadowbox system at Draft Republic in Carlsbad, California. The only drawback, not every restaurant or bar is able to install a system like this due to logistic issues. We'll explain.
There are a few different forms of direct draw systems. The tower is either installed into the wall, and beer shanks are drilled directly into the cooler. This is called a shadowbox. Another solution for a direct draw is to have an air-blown tower. We install a fan inside of your cooler that will push cold air through the tower, keeping your beer lines cold from the keg to the tap. Finally, you have kegerators. You can go here to find out more about kegerators. |
